The Simpit presents our review of the iFlag Display by MB Motorsports.

The iFlag display is an external display that shows the flag conditions of a race in iRacing.  It is an 8 x 8 array of super bright colored LED's that light up much brighter than the in game flags seen on the game overlays.

The iFlag display is an open source DIY project that was developed by Petr Vostel.  This design uses an arduino board combined with the LED array and then some software to go along with it.  For those with talent it is a great project.

For those who don't have the time, the skills or the energy to build their own, MB Motorsports is there to fill the void.  They pre build the iFlag displays and make them available for purchase in a few variations.  They also make enclosures to help out other DIY builders.

In this review Shaun goes through its construction, its features and its installation and then he uses it on track to see how it looks.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?

Great review, you've convinced me to buy one of these for my rigsmile

One question, do you think the mounting brackets could be inverted (and swapped left to right) to mount it from the top?
