Are you new to Sim Racing and looking for a wheel to use.  Do you have a friend who you are trying to get into Sim Racing and trying to start off small?  Then the Thrustmaster TMX wheel might be the answer for you.

The TMX is a force feedback steering wheel and pedal system by Thrustmaster that at only $200 offers many features of the much more expensive wheels on the market.

But as the level of our wheel, and the prices to match go up, what do you really get for $200.  Will it hold up?  Will it perform?  These are the questions that we are looking to answer.

Here are our settings within the control panel of windows for our Thrustmaster TMX wheel during testing.

Rotation - 900
Master - 60
Constant - 100
Periodical - 100
Spring -  100
Damper - 100
Center spring overide by game - checked

In iRacing

Damper - 1
Force Feedback - 10-20

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?

Great review, you've convinced me to buy one of these for my rigsmile

One question, do you think the mounting brackets could be inverted (and swapped left to right) to mount it from the top?
