After round 1 of the closed beta the team behind The Crew is ready for another batch of testers.  This story comes to us from The Ubisoft website for The Crew.

Mark August 25th on your calendars; the roads will be yours for a second PC Closed Beta.
Here is everything you need to know about this second phase:
For this second PC Closed Beta, players will also be able to register via Steam.
Players will be granted guaranteed Day One beta access if they pre-purchase The Crew before August 25th at any one of our participating retail partners.
Players who had accessed the game or simply redeemed their key on Uplay PC, during the first Closed Beta, will automatically have access to this second Closed Beta.
All keys sent for the first Closed Beta that haven’t been redeemed on Uplay PC, and thus never activated, will not give access to the second Closed Beta.
All content (XP, Levels, money, parts) earned during the first Closed Beta will be wiped for the second one.
There will be no NDA for this second Closed Beta.
The Closed Beta will end on Friday, August 29th.
As with our first Closed Beta, keys will be sent through several daily batches, so if you don’t receive yours on the first day, keep checking that mailbox! And if you haven’t registered for a beta key already, what are you waiting for?
Register now at: www.thecrewgame.com/beta
Due to the high demand for beta keys, we unfortunately won’t be able to guarantee access for everyone, even if you’ve registered with us. We’ll do our best to accommodate all of our fans, so be on the lookout!

I'm kind of tired of paying for betas like rFactor2, Assetto Corsa, so today I decided to spend the EB Games (GameStop) gift card my daughter had given me for fathersday. I went into EBgames and they had packages to pre-order "The Crew" for the PC, so I put my gift card towards that, according to the package, release date is November 11th. So when the time comes, I'll have a brand new finished title to pick up with a actual software box to hold in my hands. I'm looking forward to it. smile
Oh, while I was there, I asked about the Project Cars special edition or even the not special edition, they knew nothing about it and it wasn't in their database. What gives Slightly Mad Studios, you announce something that merchants don't seem to know anything about.
Take care

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?
