Long Beach - The Reality of Indycar

Still wiping off the excitement from my visit to Long Beach (Friday only, as it's usually much better to watch the race on television) I wanted a little professional insight to why that race was so much fun to watch.  This article on Racer.com by Marshall Pruett was particularly insightful. Furthermore, he really gets into the technical details why one make so completely dominated the other make of car.  For instance, I was not aware that every Chevy was faster than every Honda there.  Made me kind of sorry for the Honda drivers.  However, they've had advantages before, so maybe this evens it out.

This article even gets into things like pitch sensitivity, something I kind of know happens to my IndyCar in iRacing, but I couldn't quite articulate the why it was happening.  Or why a setup for Barber may not be so perfect for Long Beach. (I actually know the reason, but it's nice to have it confirmed here)

If you like to read stories about races and cars that do not usually fit into the same mold, this piece by Marshall Pruett is for you.  Enjoy.

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?
