Community requests - What you want to see covered by Shaun in "the SImpit" ?

Krassi

Hi guys ,

the Simpit is Freedom. It`s interactive place for all of us - His Majesty - the Community.
In this topic we can do a requests for  Stuff or Sims to be covered by the Show or even  produced DIY by Shaun ( he can`t do DIY Sims  for now:D ).

Thank you Krassi fore getting this topic going.

Yes, if there is somethign you would like us to cover on the show please be sure to mention it.  We are always looking for stories, tech ideas, DIY projects and anything else that will benefit the sim racing community.

In your previous life, you began to describe the parts and adjustments that make up the tuning process. You used an RC car for illustrative purposes. Please do this again.

Also it would be nice to do iracing (and other sim) car reviews. I personally am thinking about buying the Ford GT but don't want to commit and get halfway through a season and hate it.

Finally, I would like to see a wheel shootout with the new products. Thruatmaster TX/ T500 , Fanatec Porsche and Clibsport wheels.

I agree with Ray.

The instructional setup tutorials was very fun to watch and i learnd alot from it.
Also as a suggestion from myself i would like to see more race recaps.

Also Shaun mentioned in a previous video that he used to be a Painter for cars, so a tutorial or a guide on how to paint / understand the template would be awesome.

Allright man, thats what i have as suggestions smile

Take it easy out there and keep doing what you do smile

....I`m 100% behind that! I want to know how to operate with the template of the car. And make my own car paintjob.

I like all the ideas and suggestions so far, but will add that finding out about the latest and greatest new toys for us sim racers is what always keeps me coming back.

I would like to see a "Button Box build", from an old pc pad & some buttons/switches and a random box. The "Cheap as chips" option that does its job.

Agreed with Ray, actually I was going to suggest the same.
Time to dust off that RC car Shaun and get back to the roots, explaining how various settings in various sims can effect the handling and performance of a sim car.
In example, by tightening the front anti sway bar, you can expect the car to behave what way? LOL, few of us are automotive engineers. lol :D
Also, if it would be possible, I know this would be a time consuming project, is to make a chart comparing the popular sims names of the settings that can be changed, meaning in example..... in iRacing it's called a Front Anti Roll Bar (FARB), what's the same thing called in other sims, it all does the same thing but has many different names in various sims.
This would be handy as people learn how to setup a car.
Take care
